Zak had Field Day last Friday. He came home with mostly blue ribbons so he and his class did pretty well. One event he was in was the shoe pile race. They have the kids put their shoes in a pile at the end of the field. One person from each team runs to the pile finds their shoes. He runs back to tag the next person in their team to go. I was surprised Zak did so well because at home he will walk over his shoes looking for them.
Brett's class went to Bee City for a field trip last week also. Bee City is a bee farm where they also have rescued animals and fish. They have a restaurant as well. They have a classroom in the back for children to come and learn about the bees. Brett had fun.
Brett also had a bowling party to end his t-ball season. This is a picture of him after he got his trophy. It was a busy week at out house.
Zak's class went bowling last week as well. It was funny to walk in the bowling alley and 40 4Th graders had made themselves at home. There were shoes all over the floor. The kids left their shoes where ever they were. I'm sure just as they do at home.
